Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, Repair, Rebuild, and Routine Maintenance of various plant machinery and equipment, including power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Utilize the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program to complete assigned work, and enter new requests for repairs, parts, follow-up work, etc.
  • Installation and retrofitting of complex production equipment, Fabricating and Welding as required.
  • Optimize equipment safety, efficiency, and reliability participating in continuous improvement projects and complete works according to PM schedules.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2 + years’ industrial mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with exceptional troubleshooting abilities. (Foundry experience an asset!)
  • Journeyman Millwright preferred. If not a Journeyman, must be willing to apprentice.
  • You work well in both a team and independently, and comfortable using computer/tablet
  • You are comfortable working at heights, dusty environments, heat/cold, indoors/outdoors, and confined spaces
  • Occasionally able to lift heavy loads of up to 50lbs.
  • You have some basic electrical knowledge (familiarity with Turbo-Encabulators an asset)

Weekend Shift:

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from approximately 6 AM until 6PM. For this position and work shift only you will work 36 hours per week, and be paid for 40 hours. 

Weekday Shift:

2 week rotations, 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
