Skilled Construction Labourer

We are a successful construction and design build engineering firm that is entering its 33rd year of operations. With over 60 employees in the field, we are expanding our presence in Kelowna BC and looking to add Skilled construction labourers to the team!

Job Duties:

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
• Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
• Load and unload construction materials
• Put together and take apart temporary structures
• Remove, fill, or compact earth
• Follow instructions from supervisor
• Participate in on-the-job training when necessary
• Help promote a work safe environment

Qualifications:

• Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry
• Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of team
• Experience with basic power and construction tools
• Ability to do physical labor, stand, knee, crouch, bend, and walk
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Must own PPE and transportation to job site
