Apprentice Electrician (1st term-6th term)( $20.90 start for New Apprentices with Electrical ITA course).
For projects in Surrey, Langley, Tsawwassen, New West, Richmond, and other Greater Vancouver locations.
Who We Are
Since 1987, we have specialized in all types of institutional projects, commercial, and industrial manufacturing facilities.
We are based in Abbotsford, but work in the Fraser Valley as well as Surrey, Delta, Ladner, Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, and New West We. We are also on-site in Surrey and Langley on 6 school projects, an arena complex, cold storage facility, and several industrial manufacturing warehouse complexes. We also have a large maintenance facility for BC ferries in Richmond, a school project in New West, and a high school project starting up in Tsawwassen.
We are looking for Apprentice Electricians, 1st year through 4th year.
You will work on interesting and challenging buildings, not in residential sectors. We provide top-notch training to develop your skills and at the same time keep you safe. No UBC, or downtown Vancouver core commutes.
Duties Include:
- Conduit and wire and BX installs
- Distribution and generator equipment
- Fire alarm and low voltage lighting control
- Finishings, including fixtures and devices
- Lighting upgrades
Requirements for Apprentices:
- Electrical Apprentice with 1+ years of Electrician experience
- New Apprentices – Electrical pre-apprentice course or some construction experience
- EMT conduit bending experience would be an asset, but we will teach as needed
- Driver's license and own transportation
- Take pride in your achievements
- Own your own hand tools
- Have no criminal record (project requirements)
