As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for 2nd Year Apprentice to Journeyman Refrigeration/HVAC Technicians to help with our large commercial projects. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide preventive maintenance, service and repair on refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in a commercial and industrial setting
- Service new and existing accounts by analyzing work orders, investigating complaints, identifying solutions, conducting tests, and resolving problems
- Troubleshoot issues with commercial and industrial HVAC / Refrigeration equipment
- Install or retrofit equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building / plumbing codes
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance and customer satisfaction
- Document service and installation actions by completing electronic forms, reports, logs, and records
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Refrigeration license preferred
- Minimum 2nd - 4th Year Apprentice documentation complete
- Available for rotating on call shifts
- Experience working in a supermarket environment is an asset
- Gas ticket is an asset
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with an acceptable 5 year driver's abstract
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
- Valid safety certifications such as First Aid, WHMIS, TDG, CSTS, PSTS, Fall Protection, AWP, and H2S Alive considered an asset
