Commercial Mechanical Field Supervisor

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation crews on commercial job sites.

• Interpret construction drawings, mechanical plans, and specifications.

• Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are strictly followed on-site.

• Schedule manpower and coordinate daily tasks for the crew.

• Monitor project timelines, costs, and material usage.

• Conduct quality checks and resolve any issues that arise in the field.

• Train and mentor junior staff and apprentices.

• Communicate progress to the office and maintain accurate field documentation.

Qualifications:

• Journeyman certification in a mechanical trade.

• Red Seal Plumber certification preferred.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in commercial mechanical construction.

• 2+ years in a supervisory or foreman role.

• Strong knowledge of Alberta Building Code, OHS regulations, and mechanical systems.

• Proficient with reading blueprints, specifications, and job schedules.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Valid driver's license with clean abstract.
