This position is Located in beautiful Decatur, MS - just an hour from Jackson
Pay: $55,000-$60,000
Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an Executive Chef at the community college in Decatur! We're looking for a driven culinary professional with leadership experience who’s ready to take charge of food operations, ensuring excellence in taste, safety, and service across both retail and catering programs.
What You’ll Do:

Lead and manage all culinary operations, ensuring a smooth workflow in both daily dining and special catering events.

Develop creative, balanced menus that reflect current food trends, customer tastes, and nutrition needs.

Collaborate with district managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate service operations.

Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the dining program.
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 3 years of culinary management experience.

Strong leadership capabilities

Excellent communication skills

Culinary certification from an accredited institution or equivalent education and experience preferred
