This position is Located in beautiful  Decatur, MS -  just an hour from Jackson 

Pay: $55,000-$60,000 

Overview:

Join our dynamic team as an Executive Chef at the community college in Decatur! We're looking for a driven culinary professional with leadership experience who’s ready to take charge of food operations, ensuring excellence in taste, safety, and service across both retail and catering programs.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage all culinary operations, ensuring a smooth workflow in both daily dining and special catering events.

• Develop creative, balanced menus that reflect current food trends, customer tastes, and nutrition needs.

• Collaborate with district managers and cross-functional teams to coordinate service operations.

• Supervise, train, and support kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and safety.

• Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the dining program.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 3 years of culinary management experience.

• Strong leadership capabilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Culinary certification from an accredited institution or equivalent education and experience preferred
