Heavy Equipment Technicians - Edmonton (Winterburn Industrial Area)

Our company is a diversified transportation business serving the oil and gas, forestry, and general freight sectors across Alberta since 1980.

We are seeking experienced Trailer Technicians and Journeyman Heavy-Duty Technicians.

Location: Edmonton, AB  (10 Minutes West)

What we offer:

• $28 - 58 /hr
• Full-time position (40 hours/week)
• Two work schedules offered: 8-5pm Monday to Friday plus 8 days on / 6 off.
• No late nights. Service truck call out optional.
• Health, dental, prescription, and vision care

Job Duties:

• Diagnose and repair commercial highway tractors and trailers
• Complete written work orders, including parts used

Required Education / Skills / Qualifications:

• Licensed Trailer Technician / Journeyman or Red Seal certification
• CVIP certification is an asset
• Welding, fabrication, and/or bodywork skills are an asset
• Valid driver's license to operate equipment for testing purposes is an asset
• Must have own tools

Training Requirements:

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Complete in-house WHIMIS
