Transportation Manager

This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant transportation activities while maintaining strong driver engagement, regulatory adherence (MTO/CVOR), and operational excellence in pickup and delivery (P&D) and linehaul functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Driver Management & Performance

• Oversee day-to-day management of drivers and owner operators
• Monitor driver productivity and KPIs
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching

Safety, Compliance & CVOR Management

• Ensure compliance with MTO regulations and CVOR requirements
• Maintain and improve CVOR standing
• Monitor logs, hours of service, and documentation

Training & Development

• Lead onboarding and road testing
• Train drivers on policies, equipment, and safety

Operations (P&D & Linehaul)

• Support pickup and delivery execution
• Work with dispatch to optimize routes

Fleet & Equipment

• Ensure equipment is maintained and safe
• Coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance

Customer Management

• Handle customer inquiries
• Ensure high service standards

Requirements and Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in transportation and driver Management
• Strong MTO and CVOR knowledge
• Leadership and communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
