ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber (Maintenance 3) to join our Building Services team and help maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for clients, staff, and visitors. In this vital role, you’ll perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment throughout the hospital, ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards.

WHAT YOU BRING
Education/Experience:
- Minimum grade 12 required
- Must be certified as a plumber or pipefitter in the Province of Ontario and have several years experience in the plumbing field
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to access information, update preventative maintenance programs, and support equipment troubleshooting
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret and work from technical manuals, plans and drawings
- Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to the work
- Proven ability to work safely, efficiently, and with a high degree of accuracy
- Physically able to perform duties that involve prolonged walking, standing, and lifting
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Asset:
- Gas technician licensing is preferred
- A Valid Journeyman's 'Red Seal' trade qualification in the Province of Ontario
- Experience working in a Healthcare environment
Conditions of Employment:
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Will be required to travel to various work locations and provide own transportation
- Must be available for "on call' requests after normal working hours
