Role Overview
Located in Debert, Nova Scotia and reporting to the President, the Vice President (VP), Sales & Marketing is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and will lead and modernize our sales and marketing functions. This includes achieving targeted sales and profitability levels, strengthening the go-to-market strategy, building a unified sales operating model, aligning marketing with demand generation, and introducing greater commercial visibility and pricing discipline across the business. The VP is required to travel nationally and internationally several times per year.
Building on our company's strong foundation, the VP will position us for our next phase of growth by ensuring commercial strategies are aligned with operational capacity and long-term business priorities. This role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive coordination across functions and deliver consistent, high-quality customer experiences.

You think beyond immediate sales targets and demonstrate the ability to align sales and marketing strategies with broader business objectives.

Essential competencies include entrepreneurial spirit, leadership, professionalism, communication proficiency, and business acumen.
Background & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Sales and Marketing, 5 years of senior commercial leadership experience within multi-location, product-based, manufacturing, or operationally complex businesses.
- Success in developing and executing strategies to serve a dealer channel.
- Experience building disciplined sales organizations, including forecasting, pipeline management, pricing, and performance management.
- Experience integrating marketing, CRM, and performance metrics to improve commercial visibility and results.
- Experience in the building material industry would be considered an asset.
