Customer Communications & Dispatch Support Representative

We have an immediate opening for an OVERNIGHT Customer Communications & Dispatch Support Representative located at our Albany office. Our Customer Communications/Support Representatives understand the importance of teamwork and possess a “customer first” attitude. The right candidate also has excellent communication skills, the ability to multi-task and problem-solve, and can successfully work independently.

 

Qualifications:

  • A “customer first” attitude

  • 3+ years  Customer Service Experience

  • Excellent communications skills & time management

  • Ability to multi-task & work independently

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Call center and experience in electronic customer communications a plus

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.

  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.

  • Dispatch support for Service Technicians and Fuel Drivers

  • Administrative tasks as assigned

  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

  • Maintain knowledge of our products & services so that you can successfully assist customers.

  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.

  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.

  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

  • Miscellaneous tasks to support the company daily operations

  • Holiday coverage (rotation shared by all representatives)

Schedule:

  • OVERNIGHT  9:30pm to 7:30am (Wednesday - Saturday) 10 hour shift  4 day work week

 

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

 

Work Location:

  • Albany, NY - In Person position

  • THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION & RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS ESSENTIAL

 

Experience and License Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience 3 years minimum
  • Microsoft Word and Excel
