M&G Fencing Inc. is currently seeking a Full-Time DZ Truck Driver
M&G Fencing Inc. a locally operated construction company specializing in highway guide rail, commercial and residential fencing. We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED and DEPENDABLE full-time DZ truck driver. Join our growing team dedicated to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction with local and regional runs across Ontario and Quebec.
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO CHANGING SCHEDULE
- SOME WEEKEND WORK WHEN REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
- Local, in-town & out of town deliveries and pick-ups.
- All Southern Ontario location, i.e.: Toronto, London areas & beyond
- Northern & Northwestern Ontario to Manitoba border
- Assist with mobilizing to/from job sites, and delivery/pickup of various materials, supplies, etc.
- Assist with loading/unloading
- Conduct daily vehicle and/or equipment pre-trip inspection
- Complete driver’s logbook with knowledge and a strong understanding of (ELD) Electronic Logbook Devices and Hours of Service rules and regulations.
- Understand and demonstrate proper load/cargo securement.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Sleep in truck sleeper berth when required.
Qualifications:
- Valid DZ driver’s license (2 years experience preferred)
- Clean drivers abstract and CVOR
- Operate manual & automatic transmissions & vehicles equipped with air brakes.
- Physically Fit, lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
- Team player with positive, self-starter attitude
- Reliable & Dependable, with excellent time management skills
