Drivers - Class 3 with Air

Springhill Lumber Wholesale Ltd. is looking for a full-time Class 3 with Air Drivers. These positions are Monday to Friday with some overtime as required. If you enjoy driving and working outdoors this position is for you.

The successful candidate will receive full company-paid benefits after 90 days.

Rate of Pay:  Depending on Experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver building materials to customers’ job sites and pick up from vendors as instructed by the shipping department;
• Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed, and complete the proper paperwork;
• Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements;
• Receive and relay information to the shipping department in a timely manner;
• Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service;
• Other duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Class 3 with Air driver’s licence;
• Able to operate a manual/standard transmission;
• Obtain and hold a clean Driver’s Abstract (must be current within 3 months);
• Ability to perform physical labour daily, including lifting, carrying (over 50 Lbs.), bending repeatedly on a daily basis;
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) with excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills;
• Forklift licence is desired (but not required);
• Must be a team player who is friendly, reliable, and organized;
• Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment; and
• Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outdoors year-round.
• Safety boots and safety equipment are required;
• Work in a busy, high-volume environment.
