We are a national supplier of tool, equipment and safety product lines for the Canadian and US markets. Our range of products includes abrasives, air tools, hand tools, material handling, lifting equipment and safety apparel and products. Our headquartered in Vancouver, Canada with six branch offices located in the major cities across Canada and Our headquarters is in Elgin, Illinois.

We are growing and looking for talented National Account Manager who will take our growth to the next level while bringing in their experiences, process and proven results-oriented methods to partner and grow our national account business.  If you believe you have what it takes, we are looking for two National Account Managers who live in Ontario (preferable GTA area) and Quebec (preferably Montreal).  This position reports will report to the VP of Sales and partner with the Regional Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing large, complex national accounts, through business planning, execution and relationships
  • Ensuring internal company functions give the highest level of customer service to national accounts
  • Building and executing formal National Account business plan designed to drive partnership leading to share gain within target national accounts and their customers
  • Providing internal business plan updates to leadership as needed
  • Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by national accounts
  • Building an influence plan and executing meetings with all relevant decision-maker  within the customer
  • Holding business reviews to capitalize on opportunities for sales growth
  • Manage product margin targets
  • Promote new product offerings to target National Accounts and their branch network
  • Efficiently manage all required administrative functions, such as weekly reports, carefully manage selling expenses within your territory and business expense reporting
  • Work in conjunction with distribution representatives to ensure customers service is always maintained
  • Coordinate product knowledge meetings, product safety seminars and product demonstrations to National Account Sales teams and their customers
  • Organize, set up and attend National Account trade shows
  • Utilize all our company  sales tools to increase product sales to the existing customer base
  • Deal with warranty and service issues in accordance with National policy
  • Understand your regions analytics and performance through MITS and other SW data;
  • Prepare for customers meetings (prepare meeting plan and use analytics to determine the objective of the meeting);
  • Provide product sales forecast by category annually and as required
  • Position our company for digital alignment, on and through targeting National Accounts digital platforms
  • Understanding the programs within Buying groups and use our influence to increase loyalty from participating in national accounts
  • Very close co-planning and execution with sales leaders and reps as a cohesive team chasing the same goals
  • Deliver high-quality presentations internally and externally
  • CRM updates as needed
  • Other duties as required

 

Qualifications:

  •  Proven experience building high-value partnerships with complex National Accounts
  • Experience with building and executing growth driving National Account merchandising plans
  • Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a team environment
  • Hunter mindset and approach
  • People leadership experience an asset
  • Attention to detail, accuracy is imperative
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment
  • Excellent organizational & analytical skills including forecasting experience
  • Strong PC skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) required
  • CRM experience and specifically with Salesforce, an asset
  • Experience working within the Tools, Safety and Industrial space a significant asset.
