POSITION: Special Projects Student – Human Resources Team
Primary Sites: Alliance-wide
Temporary Full-time
REPORTS TO: Director HR and Environmental Services
DATE REQUIRED: As soon as possible
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the student will be responsible for assisting with several projects within our team, which include mapping process flows and transitioning from manual forms to electronic documents. This may include: data entry, data analysis, form creation and auditing processes within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Preference for students enrolled in STEM related program, but not required
- Preference to 3 / 4 year students, but not required
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Highly developed level of maturity as demonstrated by sound decision-making skills, excellent judgement and assessment skills
- Strong command of the English language – both written and verbal
- Excellent computer skills: proficient in Word-processing, form creation, Spreadsheet and Graphics software packages
- Highly developed ability to organize and prioritize within a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to commit to a highly confidential environment
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with access to own vehicle. Travel is required throughout Huron-Perth region with occasional travel to major centres
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
