THE OPPORTUNITY
The Supervisor, HR Systems & Analytics is responsible for optimizing, maintaining, and advancing the organization’s HR technology ecosystem and analytics— including payroll, learning and scheduling platforms. This role provides leadership and hands-on expertise in automating manual processes, improving data integrity, and streamlining workflows through technology and analytics.
Working collaboratively with the People and Culture team, the Supervisor ensures that HR systems effectively support operational excellence, workforce management, and decision-making through accurate, timely, and accessible information.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of HR systems, including payroll, time and attendance, and scheduling platforms.
- Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, integrations, and user access/security.
- Evaluate and implement system enhancements that improve efficiency, user experience, and reporting capabilities.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes.
- Design, test, and implement automation solutions that improve accuracy, reduce administrative workload, and enhance compliance.
- Develop workflows and dashboards to streamline approval processes, scheduling updates, and data reconciliation.
- Develop and maintain automated HR and workforce analytics dashboards and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with HR, Finance, and operational leaders to deliver accurate and timely workforce, payroll, and scheduling data.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and reports through regular audits and validation processes.
- Supervise and support staff in the scheduling office and HR systems administration team.
- Provide training and guidance to HR and scheduling staff on system functionality, data management, and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand workforce planning needs and translate them into system-driven solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess the following key competencies, record of experience and academic preparation:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR systems administration, payroll, or workforce analytics.
- Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, or automation initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of HRIS, payroll, and scheduling systems.
- Advanced Excel and data automation skills.
- Familiarity with database concepts, APIs, or data integration between HR and payroll systems is an asset.
- Demonstrated consistent punctuality and attendance record, maintaining a high level of reliability and commitment to performing duties with efficiency and effectiveness in previous roles.
- Excellent decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced working environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for process improvement.
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.

- As a partially designated French speaking organization, French verbal and written communication skills are considered an asset in this position.

- Hourly rate of pay $50.69 to $55.90, plus a generous vacation allotment
